FC-5 kan i princip sägas vara WB-5 benstödet med "pan" funktion, alltså att du utöver tilt även kan vrida vapnet i sida. Både pan och tilt-funktionen är självklart individuellt låsbara. Detta innebär att detta benstöd, likt WB-serien har ett något vidare footprint och lägre tyngdpunkt. Benstödet är alltså relativt sett stabilare än de högre benstöden likt SR-5
