REIN 3.0

Rein och Rein Micro från amerikanska Cloud Defensive är två högeffektsvapenlampor avsedda för gevär.

Lampan producerar 1250 lumens och reflektorn är konstruerad så att du får 100 000 candela på det du belyser med lampan. Detta ger en lång räckvidd samt en förmåga att "slå igenom" t.ex. dimma eller glasrutor. Reflektorn är även designad för att ge bra "spill" så att du även belyser området närmast dig, vilket gör att lampan även fungerar för mörkerskytte på t.ex. en IPSC-station med korta avstånd. 

Lampan är dual fuel, vilket innebär att den kan ta både uppladdningsbara 18650-batterier (ingår) samt klassiska CR123 batterier.

En innovativ lösning som Cloud använder är att deras externa strömbrytare ("tape switch") inte ingår i själva belysningskretsen. Dagens högeffektslampor kan nämligen dra mer ström från batteriet än vanliga tape switches kan förmedla. Därför kommer flera tillverkares vapenlampor, inklusive Surefires, att lysa lite sämre om du använder en extern brytare på din handguard. Men Cloud har löst det genom att designa en helt ny tape switch som istället för att leda strömmen genom sig istället skickar en styrsignal till lampan. Utöver att du får ut all effekt även med tape switch monterad innebär det även att lampans egen brytare är helt isolerad från tape switchen, och vice versa. Du har alltså i princip en inbyggd backup, om tape switchen skulle bli skadad eller om kabelns rycks av kommer den andra brytaren ändå att fungera. Detta kan inte garanteras för de traditionella tape switches som andra tillverkare använder.

En annan innovativ lösning är att du anpassa vart på lampan du vill leda ut sladden. Detta underlättar för dig när du skall fixera sladden mellan tape switch och lampan.

Construction
Engineered to be shockproof, dustproof, and built to last. We designed the REIN to handle the abuse of real world situations. By utilizing a modular 3-pc design made from Type III Hard Coat anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, we are able to achieve an ultra robust system that can take the hits while being completely field serviceable. Our strongest-in-class lens is made from 3mm thick glass and able to withstand multiple shots of 5.56 Simunition rounds at close distance. The REIN is IPX-8 rated for water resistance and can be fully submerged up to 100 feet for 24 hours. Every REIN light is proudly made in the USA and includes a lifetime warranty.

Innovation
The REIN incorporates a number of innovative design features such as our patented Battery Jack system which secures the battery in place and prevents "battery bounce". This not only extends the lifespan and dependability of your system, but eliminates flicker under recoil found in other lights. This unique feature also allows the use of multiple length and style 18650 and CR123 batteries for whatever the situation may call for.

Our patented REIN switches employ a number of features that set them apart from the competition. For starters, every switch includes integrated cable management for clean, snag free cable routing. Our switches are also stronger in design and electrically isolated from the push-button tail cap. This means if there's ever a failure in the remote switch itself, the tail cap can be used as a backup solution. The tail cap cartridge is readily replaceable and facilitates "clocking," enabling you to reduce cable visibility without detaching the light's tail. By utilizing our REIN switches we are no longer limited by the power loss found in other tape switch designs.
REIN ships with a "Constant-On" single button switch unless otherwise notated by dealer. This Constant-On switch allows for momentary off use when needed.

Power
Dual Fuel compatibility means your REIN can use both 18650 batteries or CR123As. It will also accept all protected and unprotected 18650 batteries, both button-top and flat-top batteries. Fully tested to ANSI/PLATO-FL1 standards.

Compatibility
Every REIN ships with our standard inline M-LOK mount designed to work on a wide variety of host with M-LOK compatible rails. If a different mounting solution is required, all REINs are fully compatible with existing Scout style mounts.
